It also depends on the type of character you want to portray and the audience you're trying to reach. The "tiktok" acting is very common in theater and when trying to portray super expressive or bubbly or sassy characters in other media

The tiktok acting is very forced and most of the time unnatural. They also sometimes act a little bratty (idk if that's the right word to describe their act but I am reffering when at the end she started lifting up her head then looking to the left & right) when they are sad which is very common. I practice acting (mostly Voice Acting) for 2 years and a half and I need to say this. You need to feel the act, not to put it on (I basically mean you have to go a little deep into one of your specific experiences to get it all natural, but if you are an actual actor or if you are a good liar you can pull it off) the real acting is very natural, so it will always win.
