Clara Lieu was an Adjunct Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design from 2007-2020. Her artwork has been exhibited at the International Print Center NY, the Currier Museum, Childs Gallery, the Davis Museum, and more. Lieu received an artist fellowship from the MA Cultural Council, has written for the NY Times, and lectured at Brown University, the NAEA conference, and in Vancouver & China. She has been profiled in Artsy, Hyperallergic, KPCC, & WBUR.

I did the same thing at the MFA Boston... And I stayed in the room long enough to hear two other people accidentally make that mistake. I feel like we need a little strip LED or something down there, ngl. Maybe the orange lights like on the side of movie theater chairs?
This is such a strange and cool exhibit. Thank you for sharing it!
Also I do really appreciate how close we ARE allowed to get to the art, and the fact that it's often put up with no physical barriers. It's a way cooler experience imo.

True art professor appreciation and analysis of the artwork always requires a closer look! Guards usually don’t mind interacting with sincere visitors and You made their day by being that person.
