Ive been out of highschool almost 20 years now. A decade later after he first announced he was starting a school to see no results when other black men with less resources made it happen is beyond trifling. He spits a good game but that’s about it.

A homegirl of mine used to mess with him. He would call her last minute when he came to town for an speech, so he could have a free place to sleep, free meal and free cat. She said it was a nuisance to host him after 3 times because he didn’t add any value to her. All he did was take and never gave anything in return. Groceries are expensive you know.

Agree totally… I was a young woman when I found Umar and loved what he had to say. Loved the school idea completely. Now I am a grandmother of two and still he’s lying on pillows and trying to look sexy and still no school. He didn’t go to the young man’s school purely because of the shame and questions. Where is your school Umar??

1. Umar is a good talker but poor at implementation.
2. The curriculum he proposes is too focused on ideology and not practical or future-orientated skills.
3. Because it's an ego-driven project he won't accept or be offered assistance that could realize it.
