We took in an orange and white spotted stray about a year ago and silly me didnt think that this half orange cat would be full crazy.... How wrong i was. The desk chair, the rug, the ottoman, the sofa, my shoe laces, and countless cardboard boxes have been eaten. I had to get a child lock for our pantry because he would open it non stop and crawl onto the shelf and nearly dump the 40 pound bag of cat food on the floor. He is a menace to our tuxedo cat and gets tangled in the wires behind the TV like everyday. I love him though lol 💕

Cats are chaotic as hell. Mine just knocked his treats off a shelf and broke the box open so I had to pick up every. single. piece. And now he’s mad that the treats are not only NOT on the floor but put in a different spot 😂

I was so impressed the other week that my own orange boy threw up in the litter box. Walked over and put just his front paws in the box to line himself up. He clearly knew what he was doing, finished throwing up and walked away without doing any other business so it wasn’t just lucky timing. A few days later he threw up in his own food dish in the middle of eating. Still considerably easier cleanup than vomiting on the carpet or furniture but I had to throw out the food still in his bowl.

It's just 12 months this week since I lost my orange boy. He was 20 and the most special cat i have ever owned. He turned cat haters into cat owners. It is hard to describe how different a cat can be. I love the two girls i have now. A black girl bordering on demonic and a tortoise shell with tortitude. Both so funny and affectionate.
It's a cat rule, if they start heaving on a smooth easy to clean surface they must run to the most difficult to clean thing within reach.

If anyone lives near Texas A&M, and would love to have their very own orange kitten, someone thought it would be a great idea to leave a box of orange and semi orange kittens in my yard. I’m allergic to kitties, so I have to find a home for them. 😢
