Katie is great don't understand all the negativity about her

She came across as very egotistical in the book, and made it clear she has much more of an edge that her “perky” on air persona. When including anecdotes, she should’ve asked herself why she was including each story. “Is this to brag?” 50% of the time, it’s yes.

I liked the book. I didn't get a negative feel about it at all. She told us about an inside look at the television industry through 40 years. All the ups and downs. She told about her experiences and how people around her changed over the years. Herself, included.

Why would this woman write this book and reveal every disgusting things she has ever done.... Did she need money that badly or to be relevant in order to ruin her reputation. Personally I think she makes Matt lauer look like the lesser of two evils.
