Hi, thx for the video.. The last stage in the setup where the app connects to wifi ssid you just created fails for me ('unable to connect'). The result AP-wifi is Not visible on any device (other than via the app on my iphone) :-( It was working fine until I turned of the raidos (2.4 & 5 Ghz).. since then (turned radios back on of course) havent been able to get it to work- did reset to factory setting end everything.. Any ideas ?

Thank you! So I’m a complete noob when it comes to this networking at stuff. So I was given a unifi pro 6 as a gift for my house. I used the Ethernet cord and plugged it directly into the AP and the other into my router. Nothing was happening and the AP wouldn’t power on. So now I see I need to get that Adapter, which I found in Amazon. Thanks for the help!
I sure hope this works for me and I have everything I need. My router is just the standard one that the cable and phone company give me to use.

Can you do this with a PoE switch to set up a network or do you need to have existing Wi-Fi?

In the Unifi config, does it allow you to setup multiple SSIDs? I use separate names for my 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. In the video, it only shows setting up a single SSID. Thanks!

Does fast-roaming work with this kind of setup? So I could have 2+ UniFi APs with seamless connection? I don't care about security or management, just good signal, simplicity and fast-roaming

I have a question - so when I set up the WAP, let’s say I’m running Ethernet from router > PoE adapter > WAP. So I’m all configured and can come to my WAP now, Will there be TWO networks, one form my router and the other from my WAP? If so will they disrupt each other? Thanks!

Since it asks you to name the network and password, if you choose a different name than your current source network, does it create a totally separate network? What if you give is your source network username and password?
