OK But the nerves thing I can relate too so much. My guy friend invited me to lunch with one of his friends (Who I actually REALLY like, if yk what I mean) and I canceled an hour before our thing because I got SUPER nervous. I also blab and laugh weirdly when I a around the "GUY" and it gets awkward.

And there’s one of the problems with society right there. She said “I feel like being put in the friend zone is worse than being rejected”. Nobody wants to be lied to to protect your feelings. People want the truth. So if you don’t want to go with them just tell them and put them in the friend zone like a respectful human. Why is this to much to ask for in 2021?

I would definitely rather be rejected. I can handle it, I'm totally fine with myself and am secure and understand that everyones got their preference. If it's not me, that doesn't bug me.

For me it is usually either not wanting to go out or being too sick to go out. One of these is why I cancel when I have to.
