don’t ask how but i only just now took the center caps off of this cube, and it actually has a tensioning system! it works kind of like the gan rs/356 m where there’s a nut with only two center piece travel settings; 0.6 and 0.8, except the nut doesn’t contain the spring, the spring is underneath the nut and you can swap them out with the springs i showed at the start of the video.

I wish I'd seen this before buying my 356i v2. I too was in doubt between the Play and the regular version and thought the gyroscope would be a nice extra, but given all those issues it has, I don't think it was worth the price difference, not mentioning the battery lasts a lot less with the gyro. And I think this is video is the only one that shows algorithm training. I delayed buying this cube for a long time as no other video really showed it and I thought it would not really be worth to get it as a learning aid. I wish the app had a better interface and showed more algorithm options for each case, also, it's very annoying having to wait for it to reset and do the algorithm again, it really interrupts the flow when you're trying to memorise a new alg.

Great video! I am sub 1min - and working on more complex algo's. Question is - is this the cube that will help get me to improvement (make practice fun and practice more complex algo's with efficiency, or am I better at going with a proper cube like the Gan 11m pro )?
