I remember pinching myself in a dream to see if it was real but after feeling that pain in my dream I realised that pinching yourself in a dream is like looking at the floor to see if you can see it. What you said about senses being created by the brain is so true.

I'm really getting back to lucid dreaming.I stopped for a while after a hurricane hit me and I didn't have power or usable water for about 2 months.But I noticed that during the time I passed those months I had multiple lucid dreams infact I was getting 2 a week, I'm still trying to get to the bottom of it triying to figure out how I had multipe lucid dreams in the pass of those months;Now I cant even remember my dreams which is really wierd seens I've always been a natural lucid dreamer(by that I mean I can get lucid in a dream not trying to be lucid)

Feeling my hands in a dream help me stay lucid and becomes more vivid. For me taste and smell are hard ones to experience. When I have tried to taste food, it had no taste.

I had these senses: someone pinched me few times and I felt them the pinches were not strong but many, I have also seen waves of a buzzing noise, and someone that died in real life petted me on the head and I felt it.... Strange, what if life is just a dream

I can smell and taste in my dream sometimes which is pretty interesting. Someone vomited in my dream a few days ago and I could smell it. Wasn’t very nice.
