I'm a huge Romain fan since I found him through the big push. Another talented songwriter and a super talented guitarist. He released his first album at the end of last year. Well worth listening too.
The world needs to hear much more of these independent artists and naked space for all these talented people.

It is a happy song, but to be happy, you must know/be sad, I think that's why this song makes me smile each time, my best friend and I always played happy songs like this one, songs that made people laugh until they listened to the lyrics :)

Romain is a shockingly good guitarist as we know from his ‘Big Push’ days but the guy playing electric lead on this, ain’t no slouch either.

Great song and as always, great reaction from you. There is a warmth to the setting in the apartment with the friends. But the song...I really like the juxtaposition of the words vs the feel. Almost like it's trying to convince the singer of happiness in the middle of sadness.

Definitely a time capsule for me. Listening transported me in memory and emotion. There' were a couple people from my past who I could see as clear as day and feel the same emotions like it was in the present moment. Definitely the markers of a great song....one that can make your heart time travel.
