The problem isn't amenities, it's prices. The pandemic exposed the film industry. We'd been paying upwards of $15 a person to go to the movies in the late 2010s, double that if stopping at concessions. Then suddenly the latest movies were available for $20 or less for the whole family to watch at home while we were stuck inside. Adding new food & new activities outside the theater aren't going to change the fact that at home on the couch is cheaper and more comfortable.

What will get me to the movie theater isn't pickleball: it's Hollywood making good movies and producing more original films.

As long as ticket prices are too high and a bag of popcorn is $10 you can catch me watching Netflix, Prime or any other movie streaming service at home.

My wife and I will not be returning, the theaters are too damn loud and others are too rude.

Reasons, majority of people stop going to movie theaters.

1.) over priced. A single ticket a small Coke and a small popcorn will still run 30 or $40 total.

2.) multiple movie theaters including very brand new ones located in very nice neighborhoods are still dirty and disgusting.

3.) no one cares about the big screen or the sound when most homes now they have 4K UHD TVs with sound bars.

4.) people and this might be the biggest one how many times have you gone to movie theater and it’s almost empty and somebody sits next to you and you want them to leave or they smell or they’re loud or hear I’m chewing or talking we just hate people.

5.) better alternatives drive-in movie theaters are making a comeback in smaller areas cheaper movie sit in the AC or campfire movie theaters in Austin Texas and those tickets are maybe a third of regular movie ticket prices.

6.) lack of great quality movies.

The problem with ticket sales being down isn’t an attendance issue. It was a bad movie issue. There was literally nothing exciting coming out the first half of the year.

Thank you for your videos mate.. . Crypto education is what the world needs the most right now. I don’t think that buy and hold is a valid investment strategy anymore. Not too diluted and to a degree, follows Sophia’s trading ideas and signal tips for your portfolio growth and aggressiveness. She is a woman who has not only taught me what the cryptocurrency trading world looks like but a secret to uplift my finance. Buying crypto and waiting for the price to shoot up is not the best way to invest in the market but buying and trading is. Sophia Haney’s trade signaIs does the heavy lifting, generating competitive returns for crypto traders and investors in the form of money and peace of mind. Time in the market vs. timing the market. If you keep that mentality as an investor, you will stay calm during the storm! Within some months I was making a lot more money and have continued on that same path...

Why go to movies if literally everything goes to streaming

Very few movies lately have inspired me to go to the theatre. Bring back good movies and people will go.

I'm guessing movie tickets are going to be more expensive. Just saying.

I go to the movies to see a movie not to zipline. Horrible investment 😂😂

Lower prices
Metal detector at the entry doors
Slushy machine that actually works
Real butter for popcorn
Have Tom Cruise show up in person more often. 😊
That's what will get me back in the theater

My local theater is turning into a dump. The ceiling lights don't turn off all the way. The restrooms are getting dirty.

People with bedbugs and lice sharing bedbugs and lice with everyone in the movie theater. 🤢

Adult wisdom includes the patience to wait out overpriced theater tickets to watch at your leisure in your home.

It’s not the theatres. It’s the garbage movies that have been coming out lately.

I probably only go to the theater once a year now, as opposed to once a week for many years. Still much cheaper to watch a movie at home and with all the streaming services, it's a no brainer to just wait for it. I think Dune 2 was the last film I saw on the big screen. If all these activities are included with the ticket price, ok, but for me, I go into the movie, then leave after it's over. I'm good with a 50 inch tv, some drinks and pausing for bathroom breaks haha. I remember how big a deal it was to see a much-anticipated film on premiere night. Used to love the local $1.00 theaters too :)
