I struggled with finding common marks to start fishing from my Quintrex Fishabout Pro boat on so did some searching online for GPS marks and also looked at some old books I had and have come up with an easy way to get them loaded into any fish finder, Lowrance Hook 5, Hook 2 etc .

Step by step instructions on how to create your own gps marks from books or online websites and import them into your LOWRANCE fish finder or other models

@6:02 the easy way to check your coordinates is to click "Map this data: leaflet" at the bottom and it will show you your waypoints. Thanks for the assist.

Great Video. Thankyou. Was struggling to work out how to transfer 500 marks from an excel spreadsheet on a laptop into an HDS 12. Was dreading the worst- manual entry. Easy to follow tutorial and worked perfectly. For some reason I found out needed to put "description" into Column 1 and name into Column 2 in spreadsheet?

I've got a hook 7. Went out today found a reef saw the fish caught the fish. I don't know how to create way points of my own yet, just manually entering them lmao. So this is a bit advanced for me

What I did with my GP I went to some spots for a couple days and. On different tides and marked flathead spot on bait and. Nother spot flatties spot on lure

Hi. From 3.52 to 3.59, you showed the transition from the word document to Excel document. The word document shows no decimal points inserted into each coordinate. In the Excel document, each Coordinate value now suddenly has decimal points inserted. Can you please explain how you inserted these decimal points into each value via cell formatting, etc? Cameron
