WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR LUNG CANCER SCREENING?
An annual CT lung cancer screening is recommended for people who meet the following criteria:

* Age 55–80 (Medicare criteria: Age 55–77)
* Current or former smoker who has quit within the last 15 years
* Smoking history of at least 30 pack years (one pack per day for 30 years OR two packs per day for 15 years)

WHAT IS THE FIRST STEP TO GETTING A CT LUNG CANCER SCREENING?
Discuss with your primary care doctor. If you qualify, you'll be provided with an order for screening.

HOW MUCH DOES A CT LUNG CANCER SCREENING COST?
During the month of November, in honor of Lung Cancer Awareness Month, AMITA Health is offering $99 CT lung cancer screenings to all patients who qualify.
