What was weird is you couldn’t opt out. I even turned off all my emergency alerts on my phone and I still got it. A friend of mine turned off their phone and once they turn their phone back on a half hour later, the alert came through anyway. A bit of an overage don’t you think

So nothing popped up on my tv but it popped up on my phone. And yes, there was action needed. You HAD to hit ok or it wouldn't go away. Even if you restarted the phone the alert would come back up!

Had everything turned off including wifi but still got the alert on a old turned off cell that can only function with wifi. No sim card either. They got the keys to the backdoor folks, this is treasonous.

These warnings have been going on for 60 years as of 2023. It used to be called the emergency broadcast system, but was updated in 1997, and renamed the Emergency Alert system which now includes warnings being sent to cell phones. They need to test this every three years by law, and now is that time. No shenanigan's going on, it really is just a test. ✌🗽
