Start by having daily goals, you'll eventually get where you wanted to be.
I've never been bored after I had make plans to improve myself.
I'm just productive most of the times (I repeat most of the times, I also get urges to do unproductive things, giving in for actions to get pleasure and comfort, but hey I atleast got better mental health, by doing Productive things most of the time, as I change my view on how I really am.)
Start Journaling maybe, common just write off things that are wavering in your head, Meditation is also a nice way to just be aware of your thinking.
