Panathinaikos used to be a big team even outside of greece until like 20 years ago, they are the only greek team to play in the final and semi final of the champions league and they played in the semis thrice (one time when they went through to the final) but since then they have fallen off and every time it seems like they are going to be revived the board finds a way to mess it up

anyways good luck to both panathinaikos and olympiacos in europe if they fail we are soon going to lose the 5th european spot and the 2nd ucl spot, I dont like the big teams all that much (despite supporting one) but the 5th spot gives a chance to any team capable of overthrowing aris to play in europe (my bet is on asteras tripolis and ofi for teams capable of doing it any time soon, i would like to see them win the cup as well but olympiacos would beat them 99 out of 100 and that 1 time win has already happened for asteras tripolis and ofi lost 6-0 to paok so it doesnt look like we are going to see a 6th winner this century)
