This makes me absolutely FRIED!!!! Concierge in my area is $5K annually, for the thrill of seeing a doctor. Do me a favor…I have spent the entire day, trying to find a doctor in the SF Bay Area that is accepting patients. The only ones in my area that seem to want to take new patients are either the concierge docs or the one I want to desperately get rid of….Concierge medicine is privilege at it’s core. I have to get through a $5K deductible before my insurance kicks in. A good doctor is going to be anywhere between $275-350 per visit. Add onto that this ridiculous charge of concierge medicine and how do you expect me to afford groceries…or should I consider eating a luxury item? This country’s medical system is in the pan. First do no harm…but these greedy doctors are doing just that.
