After 2 days of failure on my new tire machine and wasting time and inner tubes I finally did it in 2min after this video. Thank you so much.

I use murphy soap for dismounting and I use Frey lube for mounting . Frey Lube is a grease that does not damage rubber.. It offers lubrication while mounting but it dries to a slight sticky consistency so that the tire won't slip on the bead, yet dismounting years later say on a heavy Truck tire makes it easy. It prevents corrosion on the steel or aluminum rim .

The machine makes it pretty easy. With as much as we use it it is the only option that would work.

Will any tire machine work? I work in a chevy dealership as a tech and we have 2 tire machines... If so I can change my own tires at my job and try out that static balance technique

I use mine at shop pressure with no issues, we run 135psi or so.

If I clamp it at the rotor will it potentially damage my rotor?

In my case I need to know how to change the tire on my 18” rim for front of my 2016 gold wing-recommend a manual tire changer. No one within 75 miles from can change it.

Thanks so much!  I like your positive attitude and professionalism!  My Ninja 250 service manual says to always replace the air valve when changing tires.  I can't seem to find much information about this on the internet.  Is this necessary?  Don't they cost like $15?  And, the terminology is confusing me.  Is the air valve both the valve stem and the valve core?  If I have to replace it, are there different sizes for motorcycles (both the core and the stem)?  Also, my service manual uses a certain type of wheel weight.  Is it necessary to get OEM weights, or will any do?  I know these questions are probably elementary, but this is my first motorcycle.  Thanks again!

I hate it when people make it look so easy to change a tire, I suck at it. Gotta change one tomorrow though, that's why i'm here.

Question is this a specialist motorcycle tyre changing machine or is a normal car tyre machine? I have a draper car tyre changing machine that looks identical to the one in your video i was wondering if that would work obvs I know the balancer won’t

I have a shop and a tire machine. Always replace the valve stem if in doubt. I actually keep new valve stems in stock. Nothing worse than mounting a tire and discovering the valve stem is bad
