Armed with my new full set of iron armor and weapons, it's time to go deeper into the swamp in search of more crypts and resources.

Bluebell, if you want to fight abominations, you need an axe. They are resistant to blunt. Just think of which weapon you’d take down a tree with. You can also lead them to a surtling spawner since they’re weary to fire.

Not sure if you use mods but I've been using Unrestricted Portals from Nexus mods to allow me to bring metal ores and bars through the portals. Also, I suggest spending a bit of time to build a treehouse base in the swamp. The bigger trees that you can't cut down are considered part of the terrain and you can build ladders and the small floor tiles to spiral up the side of these trees. With some creative building, you can build a platform with core wood and keep your portal in a safe place.
