In 2015 I was sent to a 3 months Leadership Course called Tomorrow's Leaders. The work was tedious and too easy to grasp. For me at least. At the end of the course we had to submit two things. 1 a Visual presentation of a Company and 2 how to improve workers. IPMS (Integrated Performance Management Systems). All the teams had a lot of stats, figures, PowerPoint presentations, graphs, the whole works. I convinced our team to go against the grain. I am a video editor. I chucked the stats and figures into a dustbin and edited a three minute video with this music. Management were speechless. Some in awe. And some ashamed. They realized that making people happy is not always by measuring performance, but how they feel about what they do. To give them enough Time. Time. Time to spend with their loved ones. For the first time they could actually see stats. Not figures. They saw people. If I did not hear this song, the time on that course would have been meaningless. Well done To the Editor and Song chosen.
