today i am finally sharing my Eras Tour outfit ideas and inspiration so that you know what to wear to the eras tour this summer✨💙

this video was one of the most highly requested & it has been one of the most fun to make! dressing up in fun costumes & outfits is a tradition in the swiftie fandom and it has evolved into so many creative looks over the years :) so i spent the last couple weeks researching and brainstorming on pinterest & amazon, and i’ve come up with some really good outfits!

need to put this disclaimer out there!! you do NOT need to dress up to be a real fan 🤍 the best part about taylor swift concerts is that everyone can express themselves & come as they are!! whether that be in a full glam costume or just jeans & some merch 🤗

I’m going to the Philly 5/13 show! My sister decided to dress up as the 2019 AMAs Taylor where she wore the white button up with all her stolen albums on it. I can’t decide what I want to wear, so this is super helpful!

I’m going as Taylor in the LWYMMD music video, but specifically the Blind For Love hoodie outfit she wore while robbing Stream Co. I think the “all I think about is karma” line is so iconic; plus Reputation is probably my favorite album other than folklore!

Taylor Swift’s style is so unique. I almost NEVER find any dupes or any similarly designed pieces. I don’t talk about the red era on stage which was more accessible, I talk mostly about her current style, her lover and rep and 1989 style, and her red carpet style as well. For example I was enamoured by the fringe denim jacket with white stars from the Lover photoshoot- it’s been 4 years since and I’ve never seen anything remotely close to it. Likewise for her horse earrings or cloudy sky dress from the same PS. Rep and 1989 eras also were filled with glitter and sequins which seems to get super expensive and less evident in stores. Hell, even just a simple snake printed top I couldn't find!

I wonder why H&M and other fast fashion chains don’t bother to emulate Taylor’s style both red carpet or street? Obviously they sometimes sell sequined clothes but they are pretty basic, like one color or without any additions (like cut outs or fringes or anything) to elevate it; and they aren’t similar at all to Taylor’s more colorful, ombré style or more elaborate sequined looks; or just any of her other red carpet dresses or jumpsuits. Although recently her street style was more black and white leaning pallete. In the past she sometimes used to don bohemian dresses by Free People or other brands, but they’re nowhere to be found in brands like Zara or Stradivarius... Maybe because they go for the more European, jean and blazer-heavy style.

It's nice that Amazon offers some dupes but I'm not sure about their quality or sizing. I'd love to see more dupes in known brands. Anyway your video was amazing and inspiring!

I want to go with a more basic approach while still capturing the essence of an album. I found bright pink jeans and a blue crop top and I figured I could wear those, put the heart around my eye with some more glitter and gems on my face, and that could be the the Lover Era. What do we think?? My ideal would honestly be to wear a purple dress that resembles Speak Now with cowboy boots and a cowboy hat but I can't find a good dress anywhere.

It’s really lovely to see how much you glow when talking about Taylor. I won’t be going to any of her concerts but I do have two coworkers that managed to snag tickets to a Phili show. I’m really excited for your Vlog about the concert so I can live vicariously through you!

One thing I’ve noticed that I’m not sure if anyone else has mentioned yet. Taylor’s Bejeweled outfit that everyone is recreating, doesn’t it look so similar to Selena’s from A Year Without Rain MV? (I think that’s the song.) I wonder if that’s supposed to be a little Easter egg of it’s own somehow?

I plan on going to the Eras movie (if tickets aren't already sold out), and I'm just now realizing that my senior prom dress kinda looks like the Speak Now ballgown from the actual tour, so I may as well just wear that! Other outfits I wanna see that I think would be really cute are the Dorothy-inspired look from Karma, the red Love Story dress from the Fearless tour, and the Olaf costume from when she performed with Idina Menzel on the 1989 tour

I feel like another easy and on theme outfit idea could be just almost any coloured dress thats sequined/ glittery/shimmery and it could cover Fearless, Speak Now, 1989, reputation or Lover if its multi coloured or pink. LOVE this video!!! 💚💛💜❤💙🖤💖🧡

That outfit is pretty cool. It’s cool because it does not look like Tay, it looks like your interpretation of the Tay costume, which makes it more unique.

You should definitely commend yourself for making that fringe outfit as a teenager. It's pretty awesome. I've yet to see Taylor live in concert. I would have loved to go to the Speak Now tour, but yeah didn't have the money, and I would have made sure I got to the Lover tour if it hadn't been cancelled. 😢 I'm not impatiently anticipating tour dates for Europe. 😱
