I love this laptop. I just picked it up at best buy for $999 with the i7 11800 rtx 3060 16gb RAM! they had a Black Friday in July. Im still trying to get used to the keyboard. I like the button feel, it is just a little more spaced out that my old 13" laptop with a scrunched keyboard.

I have the Acer Predator Helios 300. It's not the top of the line like the one you reviewed BUT it has a good selection of features. I got a similar screen @ 165 HTZ QHD. It only has two fans. (But they work well!) And I can mod and upgrade without complicated (or paid) assistance. (RAM, M2 Drives, SATA Drive too.) It does have too many names for only one laptop. 😂

Moderately interested until you mentioned a miniLED version... I looked it up and it sounds amazing, 2560x1600 @165hz and with a 1250nits peak brightness

I’m a bit put off by the silver trim around the trackpad and fingerprint scanner. Its looks cheap in contrast with the rest of the machine.

Overall, would you prefer this or the M16?

You said Ram is upgradeable but on the other side, do you have to take the entire laptop apart to upgrade the RAM? I added 32GBS in my HP Omen in 20 seconds.

This is how laptops should be made in my opinion. The ram dimms can be anywhere, just give us the option to upgrade if we want to.
