They all look fantastic on you! The lenses look really thin too! Did you need high index lenses for your prescription? My prescription is -2.5 and I don't know which index should I choose. Is your prescription worse than mine?

I'm a retired optician so i am always interested in seeing and hearing what people have to say about their glasses. I wasn't quite sure what you meant when you said that you looked a little bit different. So I quickly started looking back at your previous videos and saw why you were looking different. This seems to be the first time you have been seen wearing glasses in your numerous videos. I'm not really sure why that has been the case when you clearly look quite attractive wearing glasses. Your own glasses couldn't be much better looking on you. They seem to be a perfect fit and really frame your eyes nicely. In the comments you mentioned that your prescription is -3.25 so not all that strong but strong enough that you aren't able to function without either glasses or contacts. So you apparently must wear contacts nearly every minute of the day and part of the night as well. So nice to see you come out as someone that doesn't have perfect vision. Now that you have exposed yourself as needing vision correction all the time maybe you will start wearing glasses more often in public as well instead of contacts. Wearing glasses does result in you looking different from the way you look without glasses. But that's good thing when you think about it. What girl, or young woman doesn't enjoy changing her "look" That can be done several different ways of course. You can change your hair color, which i saw that you did that and you can change how you style your hair or maybe the way you wear your makeup . But why not glasses? Actually it might surprise you if I told you that wearing glasses has become so popular that many young women that don't need glasses are buying fake glasses from the boutiques to get the glasses look. Haven't you noticed that every boutique store has several racks of really cute glasses in their stores. now you know why. Trust me if those stores weren't selling a good number of those glasses they wouldn't have those racks in their stores.
Your 3 new pairs of glasses were only $78.00. As an optician I can tell you that 3 pairs of glasses in a local optical store with insurance would likely cost between $300.00 to well over $750.00. depending on the frames and options you might get. That screwdriver isn't just for when you might loose a screw in your glasses but also should be used every so often to make sure the hinge screws stay tight. Also if you have any glasses with adjustable nose pads. Those screws also need to be kept tight. The PD ruler they included in your glasses isn't so much for you but for any friend that might be interested in ordering glasses on-line. Hahah at -3.25 you're not blind even though I'm sure it probably seems like that without your glasses or contacts being on. When you wear glasses or contacts fulltime even with a weaker prescription than you have, your eyes get so used seeing with the help of your glasses or contacts that without them you are going to feel like your blind. What you really are is very dependent on some form of vision correction. One thing you didn't mention in your video was how well you were able to see wearing your new glasses. But since you didn't say anything I would have to assume the prescriptions were pretty accurate to what your eyes need. Now I'm extremely curious as to why you ordered one pair as non-prescription? The only way you can wear them is along with your contacts. But why would you want to wear glasses that way when you really don't seem to wear your prescription glasses nearly as often as you really should be to give your eyes a break from contacts. Anyway all 3 new pairs look really good on you. About the only thing I would be critical about is as an optician I would rather see all 3 in a slightly narrower size. But remember that i tend to notice things like that much more that the average person.
