How do you measure something that you can't see or touch? In this video, we discuss how to measure the speed of sound in air. The expected values are 343 meters per second or 1125 feet per second, at a temperature 20 C or 68 F (generally increasing with temperature).

Hello Sir,

Thank you for the explanation. What type of microphone did you use for this procedure? Did you connect the microphones directly to the computer for audio analysis, or does the audio analyzer application on the computer record the sound to obtain the data?
