Tuck, Yordan, and Pena are popping off. So damn good to see and at the perfect time.

Thanks, Chili Man!

Apparently the first run that scored is an earned run, even though it was clearly due to a throwing error. If it was correctly scored Blanco would have only allowed 1ER in his last 2 starts with 12 IP.
Blanco with 2.88 ERA is 3rd among qualified starters but only 162 IP which is 25th, I wonder if he gets any Cy Young votes.
Framber with 2.85 is 2nd in ERA and 18th in IP with 170, he really deserves Cy Young votes this year.
Both these guys have had great under the radar season.

Hard to believe the Astros have played a full season with no first baseman? Wow!!

On August 16th the Astros came back from a road trip and found the batters eye repainted a very very dark green, maybe even black after there's been talk about it causing problems for 2 years now. The following stats are unbelievably telling:

In 19 games since they repainted it, the Astros are 13-6 at home and scoring 7.6 runs per SEVEN AND A HALF.

IT WAS THE BATTERS EYE THE WHOLE TIME.

Don’t look now folks but I think we found our future 1B. Caratini is looking very comfortable and confident there. Before someone says “but we need him at catcher” I remember a whole lot of people saying the same thing about a little known player named Biggio. I wonder how that turned out 😉

19 hits by the 7th inning. Where have these Astros been? 7 different Astros had multiple hits in this game?!!?!?!?! Too bad Singleton had to miss the party. Mariners won again also. The Rangers suck.

It's an incredibly long shot.... but there's still the tiniest outside chance we could somehow snag the 2 seed. We're 4.5 out from Cleveland. Say we win tomorrow and they lose, now we're 3.5. And then we win the Seattle series and they lose theirs. Now we're 2.5 going in to the season finale 3 game series in Cleveland. Sweep it and the 2 seed is yours.

Obviously that's a ton of outside help along with finishing the season on a 9-1 idk man. It's possible. We can dream anyway 😂

Having Tucker back in the there lengthens that lineup nicely. Tonight showed that. Just need JP to visualize not striking out on down & away pitches & this is team will make other deep run.

I'll be at MMP on the 25th against Seattle. Pretty excited, but also nervous.

I wonder when the Astros will represent my German heritage on their uniform? Equality and all… 🧐
