Welcome to the joke under the fold!

What did Gutenberg say when he ran out of paper? Oh sheet.

Watching Melissa help Sabrina clamp some cheeks makes the adolescent in me die of laughter.

I worked at a print shop with older printing presses in there and it was just so cool seeing how printers worked before computers. The 100 year old paper cutter was not work safe, nor did it cut completely straight, but oof it kept me working for an abusive boss for longer than I should have. Just such a cool industry with such brilliant machines.

I think you'd be fascinated by the scale of modern printing presses. The one I work on is 2 stories tall and as long as a small apartment building.

Elevators are an interesting study. From the first rope lift 'death traps' to Otis' 'Safety Elevator', and the many types of lifting systems...

"I'm 5foot4 and I don't own a ladder" is the best reason for building a scale model 😝

If I recreate a Gutenberg press and self publish my books does it count as artisanal publishing?
