As I was reading the infidelity of Hosea’s wife and his agony, my mind associated this with what is going on in our world today. The wife is the people and Hosea is the Lord. I can feel the sorrow and frustration.

I am grateful that the whole bride and bridegroom analogy was use because if anything can hit home to most of mankind, it is marriage. It is the most glorious and most difficult things we do. We can be challenged daily with mixing backgrounds and a
Myriad of other differences and at the same time exchange a deep in abiding love that can go into the eternity‘s. And in like we can struggle with our challenges here on earth and like job wonder what God is really doing and yet desperately try to remain faithful and unshaken in our love.

As I was listening to you talk of our Savior’s Atonement in Gethsemane and on Calvary, I felt the Spirit prompt me that I also needed to remember the horrors during the time He was with Pilate and the priests. His suffering began and ended with Gethsemane and Calvary, but the entire time is heart-rending. 💔

I LOVE the way you connect to scripture.

The theme of repentance is such a prevalent one.

I just wish that people would understand that repentance isn’t just a change of direction but a change of heart.

The mighty change of heart that Alma spoke of.

Repentance is the discovery of understanding. It’s part 2 of the forgiveness process.

Forgiveness of all sin, save one only, was achieved 2000 years ago in a garden.

The atonement is a PLACE, not a feeling.

And that place holds an enormity of blessings that are for you, personally.

And each time we return to that place, the blessings continue.

And though we enter the room once, it’s effects are long lasting! I’m over two years now experiencing so many wonderful things….

Tomorrow will yet bring more 😁

Jesus lived his commandment to teach nothing but repentance to this people…

Because through repentance all the other questions you have will be answered. 😁

President Nelson said “But here is the grand truth: while the world insists that power, possessions, popularity, and pleasures of the flesh bring happiness, they do not! They cannot! What they do produce is nothing but a hollow substitute for “the blessed and happy state of those [who] keep the commandments of God.”
“The truth is that it is much more exhausting to seek happiness where you can never find it!”

When ever I hear the term idolatrous woman my mind takes me beyond the obvious mark to wonder what happened to the person in question. I am thankful for a Savior who knows first hand the answer. Unless we know the rub and blister of a person's shoes who are we in our fallen state to distinguish ourselves above or even below them. Even the so called fallen of this world are part of God's great plan of salvation...

I really love your neat fall tie! Thanks for saying the hard things! I had a student in my Sunday School class that wrote me a note one time, telling me how much she appreciated me saying the hard things! It’s hard, but very important!

We are all exposed to the light of day, and storms will always come; but we have a Savior, and we all can be saved, 🙏👍 to our Savior, only you and the Savior Jesus Christ, know the life of life; He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life!

Point of trivia. AT 35:09 when you are describing the supportive rock or foundation bearing you up from below, you used some American Sign Language. I don't know if that was consciously or unconsciously inspired. But, that sign, a fist in the hand being lifted up by the other hand means 'to help' or just 'help.' So, you might have just as well had said (if including the subject) 'Christ is our help.' 😀👍

Hosea spent thirty years calling the people to repentance and faith in God and to leave their gods. Hosea 11:9 "For I am God, not a man, the Holy One in your midst". God is the divine God and the only God; the people chose to deny God. Hosea 13:4 "And you shall know no God but Me; For there is no savior besides Me". When people exchange the true God for false gods the wrath of God prevails, but God does save His remnant by Gods redemption and love, the new covenant of Christ, the blood of Jesus the Christ.
