Fun fact: When you have a view on Archangel's sniping point, if you stay in his line of sight, he'll always only put your shields down, and wait for them to fully regenerate before knocking them down again. When meeting him you can say "You nailed me good a couple times, by the way." To which he'll reply "Concussive rounds only. No harm done. Didn't want the mercs getting suspicious. If I wanted to do more than take your shields down, I'd have done it. Besides, you were taking your sweet time. I needed to get you moving."

I’m still proud I made it through the last mission, with every single character alive, on my first ever playthrough - without a guide or walkthrough.

Killing off Mordy is gonna be a net-negative in ME3. His death and inner-redemption, his forgiving himself, is the best bit of writing in 3. Legion dying is par, he comes back anyhow, but when you do 3 you've gotta have the Mordster or a large portion is gonna be so lacking.

I actually really enjoyed the mining in ME2, at least on PC with a mouse. I found the mining really relaxing, thanks in large part to the music and EDI's voice, and I spent a lot of time doing it even on later playthroughs.

As with all of your content, you have crafted an excellent structured experience and I’m looking forward to seeing your video for the 3rd game in the franchise as I, shamefully, never got around to playing it.

Sorry but I don't see grunt as a brother to wrex. I see grunt as a grandson to wrex. I see grunt as an adopted son to shepherd. You treat him like you would a child. It's kind of sweet and wholesome the relationship that Shepherd has with grunt.

I always enjoy the first person commentary that you give when reviewing RPG games that allow for actual role playing.

That was one of the things that really lept out at me when finding your channel via the fable retrospective. I know there are other channels that take this approach but I can it seems like it comes naturally to you, you immerse yourself in the character and try to get inside their heads.

So when I saw that Mass effect was your next series I was quite excited. Consistently solid work, I can only imagine you'll get even better as you get a bit older and have a few more notches on your belt. Good Luck, Son.

Mass effect 2 is honestly one of the best games of all time I think the sequel was perfect it felt like an innovation of the first one and I love it

Mining was my favorite side-activity in ME2. I did so much of it that I basically strip-minded the galaxy, ending the game with full upgrades and 100% in all resources (yes, even Ezo). I just wish the game gave me access to more resource storage options, so I could literally mine the entire map dry, instead of just over 90% of it.

I only just start this video but I'm excited to see your breakdown here. I know the options for romance companions is large, so I know you had to choose one and that would upset folks who are fans of certain characters. What's crazy is they convened a committee to create thane krios the most sexy character way that you could possibly create him. They gave him heartwarming behaviors. They gave him sexy features. They gave him religious adherence. They gave him the most moral compass. They made him to be the perfect boyfriend. Everything about thane krios is designed to attract you. Then they gave him the fatal flaw of dying by a disease that cannot be cured. They basically dangled the perfect man in front of you and then said no matter what happens in the game you're still going to lose this guy. If the suicide mission doesn't get him the disease will. They gave you no hope. It's fantastic.

1:50:33 - I was pretty darn thorough on my first play-through, but despite being overwhelmingly Paragon, I lacked the points to retain Miranda's loyalty after she and Jack argued; the end result being that two characters died in the final mission (one of whom, I think, was Tali, after sending her into the vents). I never uploaded that save into Mass Effect 3, so, I never saw what the effects of those losses were in Mass Effect 3. Jacoby's tale for that game should be very interesting!

Oh, and for the record, the jokes about Martin Sheen and Steve Blum's past works resulted in some of the biggest laughs I've ever gotten on YouTube. Thank you, YFS!

Hey son, love that you are enjoying this series. It was one I was excited to get you into. Definitely appreciate that you are making your own way in the universe but you have to know, you've made more work for yourself. If you make a video on mass effect 3, you need to include things that only happen with "the true good ending" and honestly, might be a good idea to get some "true bad ending" things in there too. I won't say what, not sure how much you saw when you shouldn't have, but I promise it'll be worth it.
