just got my A55 last week along with a free adapter and buds FE. So basically I got a device that's about 90% of what S24 FE can do but came with all the accessories I needed while saving myself almost half of what the S24 FE costs. If that's not better value, i dont know what is

S24FE also has the DeX feature which enables a desktop mode if you connect your phone to a tv or a modern monitor. It's like having a mini pc in your pocket, it's an underrated feature

Been using the a55 for 3 months now. It's performing pretty good with enough battery to go through your daily tasks. Coming from a S series I don't miss a lotta features except the Samsung DeX and a 3x telephoto lens which I personally find useful. If you can spare a couple of more bucks, then my suggestion would be going for the generic S24. It'd be a true flagship. But whatever fits your budget. 🙂

I got my s24 fe 2 weeks ago for $600 and I love it! I will be keeping it at least 2 to 3 more years.

A55 is much better value. I have it. It has 95% of flagship features, same build quality and feel, arguably better battery life.

I'd get the s24fe. It's a damn nice phone this year. I saw one on eBay for only $420 bucks in open box condition. Idc what anyone says about the chip, i think its a wonderful chip for the price & software support Samsung is given.

I prefer alumunium frame.., and i need tele lens not macro, so i think i will buy the s24 fe, and there is big gap in processor, so i bet the fe more snappy..

better cameras, better display, powerful chipset, 7 years of Android updates, Dex mode, wireless charging,
in my country the 256GB/8GB variant costs $505 compared to $365 for the A55

I know this is not a video based in or about the United States. I just happen to be seeing it from here and found it interesting.

If you are the United States the choices of unfortunately very simple. Samsung chose not to even sell the A55 here. Instead pushing people to purchase the S25 FE...

Hopefully next year Samsung decides to sell the high end A series device here. Because for the vast majority of users that phone is good enough.
