INTRO - With approx 50% of indian population got health insurance under pm jay which provides coverage upto 5 lakh rupees however still there are many drawbacks in the indian health care system which needs to be addressed different regions and climatic zone

Body - issues with Public Health Initiative
1 ) All the beneficiaries are not registered
2) Lack of Infrastructure in the hospital ls
3 ) Lack of staff which includes doctors+ nurses+ compounder
4) awareness
5)Issues with the process during opd and admission in the hospital
6) no coverage of Opd
The following reforms needs to be taken
1) Make infrastructure in public healthcare sector in different areas including Countryside
2) E voucher - Instead of Dbt to hospitals, make e voucher of the intended amount to patient
3) create more institutions for enrolling mbbs aspirants
4)Cover Opd patients and medicine also which is burden on many people

Conclusion - there is need to address public health by promoting shcmes like pmjay and E voucher in Healthcare system

The policy aimed to:
Ensure equal educational opportunities for all
Fulfill compulsory education for all children up to the age of 14
Focus on science and technology
Other features
The policy also called for:
Specialized training and qualification of teachers
"Radical restructuring"
The first NEP was a significant step in the history of education in post-independent India.
