Over 20 year for me. Once you’re out of a cult, there’s no going back. Freedom to think or do anything I desire, Or follow a strict lifestyle and self conditioning behaviour by praying 5 times a day? (Islamic praying is hella weird anyway) it’s a no brainier. Only it takes brains and critical thinking skills to see that it’s a cult that you just happened to be born into.

I ran away 40 years ago and with all my studying into what it is, reading the Quran and Hadith, I have never felt I would go back to it because I am convinced it is manmade like all other religions. Allah gave me this brain which is not convinced with the evidence.
