The differentiation in experience between the different civilizations is extremely impressive. It looks like different Civs are almost different games.

my favorite civ, god they are hard to play with their weak early game but they are extremely satisfying when things go right

Everyone is talking about all the gameplay mechanics and the civilization. Me? I click on these videos to listen to the epic battle music. Can't wait for the soundtrack to be released so I can enjoy the full pieces.

Hey age of empires, can you make elephants hitting building animation more realistic? Like in age 3 mohout lancers did. Properly going back and then throwing themselves at building. It improves the gameplay and satisfaction to watch elephants go dam dam into building.
Anyways this game looks Great and I mean it. GREAT.
The kind of new uniqueness given to every civ is very good!

This is a civ that focuses on research and defence, so it's quite impressive.

But is it alright if we can also have a DLC for a Hindu civilisation? The Vijayanagara Empire
(or Majapahit) can be a good start. It's like France, if Delhi is England.

there should be diff clans in indian campaign because delhi sultanate was established by foreign civilization developing with contrast of indian
i was thinking in this series they will add campaign of maratha empire, rajputs revolt against mughals, sikh empire, tipu sultan against british, mauryan daynasty, chandragupt against alexander, poras against n if there were some of them the game would have blown among
hope we may see them in next

Looks like a difficult civilization to master. The preview mentions their efficiency in respect to all the resources saved on researching technologies, but I wonder if their war elephants will be as population efficient as they were in Age of Empires 2. Are they taking up multiple pop spots or is that only siege?
The free technologies do suggest that there might be be a lot of leeway for pursuing out-of-the-box, novel strategies using the Delhi Sultanate. I could see people trying early aggressive strategies even though the civ seems more bent towards the mid and late game.

I like what they're doing to mix up the mechanics, real promising for longevity but hope it's all balanced!

"Use superior technology to dominate in the late game..." So the Delhi Sultanate is basically Protoss? I'm calling it now, Delhi OP!

We need Ottomans and Byzanz in this game

I love how the elephants operate and they look good. My only complaint is they don't really have an attack animation. It looks like they are just lazily moving Thier heads around.
