My mom loved the Lord with all her heart and died early at 51. As a small child I would see her in the kitchen doing dishes and she would be singing this old song. My how I miss her tonight. Hug your living loved ones and tell them how much you love them because when the Lord takes them home it will change you forever. I am 65 now but I still remember her singing this like it was yesterday. May this song bring you hope and comfort!

I miss my mum too every single day since she passed away at the age of 95, just over a year ago… I was lucky I was with her (the only one of 3 daughters!) when she drew her last breath… thank you dearest Mummy/Mutti for all your loving care all those years. Rest in Peace now until we’re reunited one day. 🙏
