"if he'd gone to AEW in 2019/2020, it would've been a game changer"

you mean like the 65 others that have been signed since? how much has this fucking game changed? it's still terrible because Tony doesn't read the rules

Randy Orton would walk into AEW now and instantly be the biggest star in the company.

Inevitable, especially now that he's being treated like a wrestler again instead of setting fire to spooky clowns.

Randy Orton is born and bred WWE dude. He’s as locked in as can be.

5:13 I hate it when Bryan says shit like this, and then not correct/push back when Meltzer says the opposite.

Honestly Randy Orton would walk into the AEW locker room and just laugh.

Orton just biding time in the Evil Fed reupping with them, he knows 49 is main event age in AEW - no need to rush.

Funny how nobody in this channel ever just says “ya know, right after Punk was fired, these numbers started to take a hit. Maybe they should have fired Perry (a mid carder at best) over our main event top draw Punk??”

I farted at my desk and my back cracked. Boss asked if I needed a bathroom trip. I said "yep". Just kept typing.

Orton resigning is not a surprise. The guy is great and WWE is hot so why not give him more.

When it comes to AEW that is not Dynamite they have to make changes. Rampage is something I watch but it needs to go. It has the stink of the C show and even if you put all your stars on it people are conditioned to skip it and Collision is good but it needs to move to Thursdays or something. Saturday is already bad, but with UFC PPVs and WWE PLEs it is always going to die.

No, signing Randy would not have been a game changer. The WWE brand within itself is just too powerful to be dented by the departure of any of its stars. When people stopped watching in the 2010s and WWE went through a terrible period, the ratings of other competing promotions didn't increase a bit. If anything, they got worse. Casual fans only care about WWE, and unless AEW's marketing evolves in a spectacular way to lure these casuals in, I don't see the status quo changing anytime soon.

WWE wasn't affected by the Olympics, but AEW was killed??? You get that makes zero sense, right? Why is there always a race to point out everything else AEW shows were up against, but that same thinking never applies to point out WWE got good numbers despite those shows/events being on??? There's been the NBA/NHL playoffs, a Kendrick Lamar Amazon concert, the Olympics, and countless other excuses that only apply to AEW. You know there's ALWAYS gonna be other shows and events going on when the AEW shows air. At some point, those excuses have to turn into just the other shows. If there's ALWAYS a show or event that takes away viewers from only AEW, then eventually losing those viewers is just the norm
