I think Loki may have the Mythical Zoan: Surtr fruit. Surtr is the flame gaint destined to destroy the old world in Norse mythology. It fits perfectly with the norse/viking theme of Elbaf. The giant sword, Loki's statement and even his design are massive foreshadowing. Add some fire and he looks similar to most depictions of Surtr. His transformed state might be twice the size of an ancient giant like Oars Jr, and that guy made the giant marines look like children, and that could explain why all the giant warriors were needed to restrain him.
