Pro tip: If you are too low level to craft a mangler cannon, the streak that turns you into a mangler also works.

My hot take, easily RE0 being the most under appreciated games in the franchise. People always bring up the clunky inventory or the insane difficulty in comparison to other games. But the story and character writing/dynamics are some of the best, specifically between Rebecca & Billy or Birkin & Wesker. And that’s where this game shines.

Rebecca is easily the best she has ever been here, most importantly she isn’t the “damsel in distress” that she’s known for here. She not only can defend herself, but she helps and saves Billy multiple times throughout the game. She becomes the first character to canonically kill a tyrant on their own as well. And her relationship with Billy as they go from cop and criminal to partners in survival was amazing to see. The backstory we get with Billy being charged and sentenced for crimes he was commanded to hand out.
And that’s not even scratching the surface of the world building between Wesker, Birkin, and Marcus. I could gush about this game all day but it’s best to experience it for yourself.

TLDR: RE0 is underrated because of the story, world building, and character development / relationships established. Specifically Rebecca, the most under-utilized character in all of RE.

Just an FYI you don't have to shoot the piles of wires, they're similar to the dig spots in Origins and Mauer. All you have to do is interact with them to see if the wires are there.

I rush the room with crafting table at the start of the game for extra points and thus quicker progress. Also you can shoot the box with pressure gauge. And also you can wait for mangler to shoot you to open the shop.

You don’t need the kill streak you can use one of the arm guys that spawns to open it
