This is another thing bound to happen. Binghe is Shen Qingqiu's weakness. Has been. He hasn't even noticed other people beside him existing. Everything he does, is to align or misalign with Binghe. There's no other purpose. And he doesn't even realise he is not doing it for the system anymore.
If he had a choice, if he did open himself up, Liu Qingge and Yue Qingyuan would not be hurt. Yue Qingyuan holds Shen Jiu, but Qingge holds Shen Yuan close. It's just....his bad luck, ig. If Binghe had a harem, maybe? But Binghe wouldn't have a harem in a world where Shen Qingqiu is alive. So it's basically Liu Qingge either gets his heart broken from Binghe and Shen Qingqiu choosing each other, or he watches Shen Qingqiu die in Binghe's hands.

This was so well made, I loved it. It really shows how things would be from Liu Qingge’s perspective.. Luo Binghe seems like such a villain, I can only imagine all of the regrets LQG would have to see Shen Qingqiu end up with him in the end.. how many times he’d lie awake at night and wonder what he could have done differently.

I shipped LiuShen from the beginning....
Liu Qingge and Shen Qingqiu goes REALLY well together if you think about it. The mf really storms into Luo Binghe's place everytime in an attempt to take back SQ's corpse only to be beaten EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. but he didn't let his pride get affected cuz, for him, retrieving SQ matters so much more.

This is honestly one of the only Danmei's where I don't really ship the main couple and prefer a fan ship

I've lost track of how many times I've watched this. It's so beautifully heartbreaking, thank you.

The part that kills me the most is when Shen Yuan is holding Liu Qingge's face in his hands and stroking it. That slow eye-close and relax just breaks my heart. He's like a cat whose suspicion finally recedes enough for him to relax, accept, and love... And in my experience, if you can win over a suspicious cat, they're yours forever.

I think this is what made me break down and start writing Liushen fanfic. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to NOT write a happy ending for Liu Qingge now, Liushen being my pref. D:

Shen Qingqiu remains one of my favourite MXTX characters, but I can not get behind his relationship with Luo Binghe, so whenever I reread Scum Villain, I choose to focus more on his relationship with Liu Qingge instead😅. The two of them are so precious and supportive of each other and that’s why it warms my heart to see incredible ship content like this for them🥰. Thanks so much for this!!!

I've seen this video SO MANY times. My main SVSSS ship is Bingqiu, BUT I love LQG so much and even though MXTX said he was heterosexual I still see him as in love with SQQ, unrequited Liushen always will be canon in my mind, and this video represents so well how I think things are from LQG's perspective.

Every couple of weeks I get again into the liushen angst mode and I end here watching this video at least a dozen times on repeat and drowning in feelings.
