2 Feet of Snow? No problem for this cute little weasel.

This little weasel was bounding through the snow during a heavy snowfall in the Canadian Rockies.

I believe this is a short-tailed weasel, though it’s tail does not seem very short. In the summer they are a reddish brown colour and change to a nearly all white colour (with a black tipped tail) through the winter months to better blend in with the snow.

Oddly, this reminds me of surfing in the Pacific Northwest, when a seal pops it's head up and looks around, swims a bit and then dives only to pop up again somewhere else. very cool, but also creepy AF sometimes...
