So my friend wanted am explanation bc she wants to do the same edit but with her OC so if u need an explanation here it is also sorry if u don't understand it I'm bad at explaining:

So at the first I selected the selection layer and then I colored it around my OC (not the bg) then after that I colored the whole thing black and then I went to selection layer once again to clear the whole entire thing I basically colored then I placed it under my OC and moved it a little to make it look like a shadow but I realized I wanted it yellow so don't make the same mistake as me ANYWAYS I added a new layer on top of my OC but this time it's a little more lighter to look like your In a spotlight and then I colored my bg black and added some cute shining things
