This is another one of those unboxings where people have generously sent me many varied and totally unexpected items. 'Kevin' also has some fans and he is now recieving gifts of his own! I never dreamt that my channel would have brought so many like minded people together to become involved with the production of these videos through their generosity and imagination to make these unboxing videos, classics in their own right. I firmly believe that you are all part of a global family; brothers and sisters united through the power of the internet sharing common interests and discovering new things together. Thanks for sticking around, Marty.

Marty, you brighten my life and I am ever you.

PS My Thanks to Julie (and you production staff) as well - nothing as amazing as your channel is possible without the support of those behind the scenes, particularity those that have to live with it on a daily

If Missouri lent Mississippi her New Jersey, what did Delaware? I don't know, Alaska. Another great video. Thanks, Marty.

The cars around the 6-7min mark were land speed record cars. Bluebird and Thrust II were British, and the Spirit of America was from the USA (it didnt go supersonic by the way, however the later British ThrustSSC did).

Oh yeah starting off Wednesday right with a fresh cup o oe and a new Marty's video.
I wonder if you can use those soldering sticks to fix the bucket on the K6 caterpillar.
The BlueBird was the 1935 version of a land speed record setter owned/driven by Sir Malcolm Campbell, the original is located at the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America, located at Daytona International Speedway Tour Center. On 3 September 1935, it reached 301.337 miles per hour (484.955 km/h) breaking the 300 mph barrier for the first time by a bare mile-per-hour.
Thrust2 is a British designed and built jet propelled car, which held the world land speed record from 4 October 1983 to 25 September 1997. The car was designed by John Ackroyd and driven by Richard Noble at Black Rock Desert in Nevada. 633.468 mph – the record-breaking speed averaged over the 2 runs outward run was 624.241 mph the return run was 642.971 mph
Spirit of America – Sonic I built in 1964–1965 was a four-wheel design with a much higher rated GE J79 engine originally from an F-4 Phantom II, setting the record at 600.601 mph (966.574 km/h) on November 15, 1965
Sorry for the information overshare but it was fun researching those vehicles real quick.
Thanks for sharing

Now you have to start a new series of readings from your Matchbox book. I want to know the comic stories that were in it. Marty's Matchbox Story time.

Marty, the record breaker blue car is the jet powered Bluebird driven by Sir Donald Campbell who broke the world land speed record on Lake Dumbleyung in WA. There is a replica of the Bluebird in the town. More info on the net. Ray from Tassie.

7:22 here's a trivia: the word "osram" in Polish is the first person future perfect tense of the verb "to shit (on something)". In other words, "osram" = "I will have shat". Now you can imagine how much fun it is to buy/sell osram lighting products in Poland.
