The worst person to see and hear was the 8-year-old boy. There is nothing worse than seeing and hearing a child scream in severe pain. Tears immediately came to my eyes and I admire the police officers for their commitment, their courage and for having to endure it all again and again.
But the rescue from the burning houses and the rescue of the boys trapped in the water were also real heroic deeds! I am so glad that there are so many brave, fearless and energetic people in the rescue services. We can't thank you enough for that. God protect you!

My mom is a nurse, and my dad is a retired firefighter. When I was 3 or 5 years old, my parents abruptly stopped the car at the sight of a motorcycle accident and jumped into action. I remember peaking out of my window and seeing the injured man without his helmet and my mom preforming CPR while my dad helped the paramedics with the defibrillator before asking one of them to take over while he checked on the other victim, who was a woman and miraculously unharmed but she was pregnant and was in labor. He helped her to the first ambulance while he talked through his radio dispatch and called for a second medic. Months later, the guy and his wife recovered, had a baby girl, and the woman joined the fire service, and her husband became a nurse thanks to my parents.

The little boy screaming in pain when he regains full conciousness..when you're ellectrocuted by those kind of volts, the exterior burns are minimal to the damage done to your insides. Its a miracle he survived the shock in the first place. And the officer, trying to reassure him but knowing there's nothing he can do to ease his pain. That had to be gutwrenching. I commend these officers for saving him, but also for not waiting on EMS.
And thank you to this channel for reminding us that, for all the horrible examples that so many people share, there really are amazing cops out there!

My heart shattered hearing that first boy. Just crushing. The brain being the way it is, while he will have scars, he probably won't remember the actual pain.

it’s actually unbelievable how many times officers are yelling evacuate and people are still sitting in their locked apartments waiting for some kind of savior to teleport them

As a mother, I'm am absolutely sobbing at the first child's screams. No one should endure such pain, especially an innocent child.

This isn't quite the same thing, but I'll be forever grateful to the police and fire fighters who used the "jaws of life" to rescue my two cats from the collapsed half of my car a few years ago. They were determined to save them as if they'd been actual human beings in need.

My faith in humanity is restored.

Every officer in each clip went above and beyond the call of duty to save their fellow human beings.

Mad love and respect to all the officers in each clip.

Massive respect to the fire chief for going down the tunnel. It doesn't just show bravery but leadership and the fact that he decided he had to be the one to take the risk and go in shows a lot about his character and is proof he deserves his position.

Something about the kids reactions in the last one.. like they really realize after that that being a teenager doesn’t mean you get to do whatever you want and you aren’t invincible.
That’s one of those “your life flashes before your eyes” moments.. and one of the kids in the car crying because he thought his friend was dead, and you can see the relief in his eyes when the officer said he came out on the other end and he’s okay. They will never put themselves in danger like that again I guarantee.

The bus accident really made me mad. How does nobody have a count on how many kids are present outside of the bus compared to how many are supposed to be there? It should have been immediately known. I work in an elementary school, and i am constantly counting my kids, and im not even the person "in charge."

I lost my brother who was 10 to drowning. The last one made me really feel a lot of horrible emotional heartache. Really brought back the last moments with my brother. Can’t stand this.
