Love how Thanos always likes to give his truthful opinion / view on things, no matter what the situation (I mean, naturally it's mostly for expositions's sake, but it's definitely part of the character).

This shows how potent a villain Thanos is: His conviction in the righteousness of his cause was so much that he was willing to destroy the stones and live with the consequences of that action for the rest of his days. His utter belief in his actions vindicated by those same actions. No doubt, no hesitation. Only the slightest consideration for his surviving daughter...
