Lot of people complained that oda will take more breaks for the live action. But honestly i think him working on the live action is good for him, he gets out of the house.

Dude I just realized. If Season 2 is ending off with Drum Island, then Ace's introduction is the PERFECT post-credit scene (or possibly just the final scene and the actual post-credit scene is Crocodile or something). That's why I do not think we are gonna get his casting announcement since he's basically only gonna be in one scene for the season. Instead, the casting reveal will be a surprise until the season actually comes out through that hypothetical final scene.

from what I gathered about oda wanting to make that cast as diverse as possible and get people all around the world is that a raccoon dog/tanuki is playing the live action version of chopper 100%

Ep 1 - loguetown entirely or a quarter of it will be reverse mountain
Ep 2 - reverse mountain and twin capes or twin capes and whiskey peak
Ep 3 - whiskey peak and into little garden or just little garden
Ep 4 little garden
Ep 5 conclusion of little garden
Ep 6-8 drum island

Bro imagine at the very end of Season 2 we see the “To Be Continued” sign. Cause Netflix also wants the live action viewers to know that the arc is not over.

I already predicted that they would end the Second Season with Drum Island and leave Alabasta for the Third Season.

Wanting to adapt Little Garden, Drum Island and the entire Alabasta Arc within the same season would be an idiotic idea as the resources would be stretched thin and a lot would have to be cut so having the entire Third Season reserved for Alabasta is ideal so they can focus all of their time and resources.

I called it were gonna end with chopper episodes is not enough to squeeze alabasta in it....drum island has Ace, Blackbeard, choppers backstory the first Zoan reveal, young Vivi at the reverie.. and Rogers name revealed to be Gol D Roger and not Gold Roger....they can do alot with that

Honestly, I'm feeling much better about this pacing. I was worried they'd try to rush to the end of Arabasta in S2 and skip Whiskey Peak / Little Garden. By my calculations, assuming they go all the way, this pacing should go:
