Missing two All-World players, first game back for two starters, Ducharme still coming back to her game, this team did it ugly but won.

~100 turnover over the last five Lots of absolutely inexcusable turnovers at this level of BB!!! Everyone has to stop trying to make passes that just aren’t there, eliminate the silly traveling violations, dribbling into double-and triple-teams then picking up their dribble, etc…
Inexcusable!!!! Slow down and focus on the fundamentals of good basketball and quit trying to make the “amazing g” play!!! Keep it simple!!!! You’re better than everyone else so you don’t have to come up with amazing plays to win, just execute the basic plays presented to you! Do t be a hero! Be a great team player and y’all will start scoring 15-20 more points per game!!!

It'd be easy to criticize UConn for sloppy play. But given how the year's gone - losing Paige, Ice, Dorka, Nika, Azzi, Lou - essentially their starting 5 - then getting them back piecemeal requires them to reinvent their offense every damn week. What I like more than anything? Their spirit this year. 3 - 4 years back, they'd have collapsed. Now - thanks (largely) to Nika's indefatigable point play they don't let themselves lose with excuses.
