John Deere 1025r quick and easy LED lights

A quick addendum on my tractor trailer and then things are looking bright. Some of the materials I used to add LED lights to my ROPs with no drilling or special mounts for under $25. Existing lights on the tractor do great if you don't need use your loader or see behind you.
John Deere charges a premium to add LEDs that could be torn off if you are in a tight spot.

Great idea with the lights but I like my ROP so I cut it down so it fits under the door of the garage and still gives me the security of the ROP and I mounted a strip LED light on top works out really well it looks nice thank you for your information like to read your articles

I want thank you. I purchased the lights from Amazon and Manet's from Harbor Freight. I had the wires from before. They work great.

That's pretty smart. I like the versatility and use of accessory plug rather than splicing factory wires.

What a clever and affordable way to go about the lights. I love the versatility and surprised how well they work. Thanks for sharing info on what and where to buy and how you hooked them up.

Hi Tom, Did you worry about the 40A relay that is usually sent with the NILIGHT light bars?

I have a john deere 2038r. I purchase the lights and they have red and black wires. The other wires do not have red/black wires. How do you know which one to hook up to the other wires.

Thanks for the video been thinking about lights for the back but didn’t want to drill or molest my tractor - I think this is a great route with flexibility 👍🏻

Those look like great little light I have a lawn tractor, not a JD and I have no lights. I'm going to order a set of those LEDs today. Thanks for the video I'll be looking for the next one. And I'm glad you got your trailer fixed now that you have it right they should not flip on you. I have built two 14 ft car trailers for Model Tees and it appears that they just didn't Bolt the shackles right. Happy trailering, be safe and have fun!!!

I really enjoy your channel but can’t say I agree with your approach here.
Why go through all this trouble and then have to remove and install them repeatedly. Even though with the magnets it’s easy to do.
Just install them once and wire them to the factory light wires that are already installed and available for use at the bottom of the rops.
They are easy to see as they have little black caps on them. These wires are also activated by the light switch. A win win. Your little led lights are not in the way when not in use so I really don’t understand why you did it this way as the tractor vibration will cause the magnets to move around and now you have to readjust the lights. Just my opinion your mileage may vary. Keep up the great videos.

Great Idea, You should have just manufactured & sold for $119.00 a pair. I would have bought a set. Thanks again!

Ohhh you gonna die a violent death for driving without the ROPS installed🤣. Don’t blame you one bit for taking them off on level land. I know the safety nazis will hate me for saying that, but that’s my position. Great videos.
