Thank you Chris. Very useful when you need to say within Premiere. Would you please consider doing a curves animation tutorial (in AE)? I have been trying to animate statistical curves for my students like the stylised simple bell-shaped curve of the normal distribution and getting terribly confused trying to animate an imported illustrator or SVG file.

"A little bit more complicated than in After Effects." Gee, ya think? Sorry, I know you're just using the clunky workaround tools that are available within PP but this is insanely convoluted compared to the elegant but now obsolete write-on effect, which Abobe shit-canned in PP and apparently never replaced.

All you should have to do with an animate-line effect is set a start point, an end point, and a keyframe. DONE. Instead, we're partying like its 2003.

Cropping and masking just to animate a line? Are you freaking kidding? This is just nuts. As much as I hate AE, I'm hoping it will work as I just described.
