As soon as your puppy wakes up from a nap, pick him up and carry him out to wee. They wee right after waking up. Take him to the place in your yard where you want him to go. He will identify this place as his wee spot. His neck is so tiny, a harness would be better until his neck is stronger. He is so adorable! I just want to smooch that precious nose.❤

As a dog professional I love the advice your cousin is giving! Just follow your heart, and if it feels cruel, it kinda is. Remember they are tiny babies, away from their siblings and mom. So sleeping alone is very scary for them. Also, lots of sleep is so so so important! He really is so so so cute ❤
