That 4 hours a day rule is the best advice in general. Most people aren't willing to put that much time into something.

100% real advice!! Also, getting out in front of any audience you can as much as you can. You can hone your craft in rehearsal mode, but shit changes the moment you’re in front of a crowd.

Sid is one of the most humble and down to earth guys I have ever had the honor of meeting. I met this amazing gentleman in Noblesville, IN at Mayhem Fest 2008. 15 years later and I still feel like that day changed my life forever. Thank you Sid, stay S1C 🤘😠🤘

I hate when people say I want to play guitar, or say they do and can hardly play 3 chords. It's a dedication and lifestyle. I spent countless hours in my room growing up

I wish I could practice 4 hours a day. Sounds like heaven.

Practice whenever you can fit it in not everybody has 4 hours a day that can free for this, as long as you maintain some kind of consistency you can atleast see results in your craft if nothing else

Now this is actually truth. Real practice. Dedicated and focused, four hours per day for 10-12 years and you can be a professional level. But it takes that slow burn of dedicated and focused, intentional practice every day. Extremely difficult to maintain through life events, vacations, problems in family...etc. Dedication to this level makes you an artist 100%.
