How to BUILD a 1997 Honda Civic EK DX: Original Owner Build!

In this episode we bring you Carlos and his amazing Honda Civic EK. We have interviewed many Honda Civics but this story is one of a kind. Carlos has owned this hatchback since day one and now it has been running from a long time sitting on jack stands. I am excited to see what happens to this build now that it is making its way to the East Coast. I hope that I am able to see this car in a show when I make it out. My doggie CARLOS! Dang I still remember how both of us got our EKs back in 97 brand new from the dealer! Did you get yours from NORM REEVES CERRITOS? I miss my old EK so so much! I’m so glad you still got your beautiful EK! We have had so many awesome memories driving around together from going to the street races, car meets and car shows! I got 17 volks.. had it for 25 years. Old skool still kicking it man. Grew up with step bro they all were building hondas in the 90's for import tuner..

I can up on some RSZ work wheels for $70 with tires 4x100 16x7.5 for my civic. No excuse to run reps. The deals are out there.

I didn't know honda still made hatchbacks past the mid 90s. Were there any made in the 2000s ? The same deal with wagons. At least here in the US I've only seen honda SUVs, sedans and coupes after the 90s.
