Upon first seeing the canny version it immediately had an impact on me. It was funnier than the uncanny version, yes, but there was something else. It suggested the victory of positivity over negative, optimism over pessimism, the sun raise after the long night.

It's incredible how far this meme has gone! It reached both scaring me a lot (mainly for leading me to search things that have deeply scared me and make me lose my sleep) and making me a lot happy.

Would like to see other versions of the meme where other emotions are focused on, mainly because the canny and uncanny usually represents happiness and fear. A version where he becomes more and more sad, more and more disgusted, more and more other emotions/feelings, and obviously, a version where he becomes more and more neutral would be amazing. If I knew how to edit images and videos well and knew a good amount of songs, I would probably do this.

I feel like memes that have an "evolution" aspect such as this one and the "snotty boy glow-up" meme are more likely to go viral and be liked more than other simple formats as they give a feeling of anticipation towards the last evolution

I want a Mr. Incredible Meme video where it gets increasingly uncanny then twists it at the end and instead rapidly becomes canny.

Like, say, UNCANNY is from walking alone on a morning street to a dark place with ominous sounds. Then the canny twist is pulling out a shotgun to being the object of horror itself or something.
